aldersprig is also a writer. She's probably a better writer than me and, well, I like her stories. Most of her tales and worlds have a fantasy element and many of them have adult themes - Addergoole, as an example, may be about teenagers but I wouldn't say that it is for teenagers.
If adult themes are not your thing, or you what you want is a steampunk boarding school story, then I would recommend the stories set in the Empress Edaledalende Academy of Higher Learning at Ilelteddez, Edally for short. This tale of friends and boarding school is now nearing the end of its second book so there is plenty to read. The first book investigates a disappearance and a theft. The second deals with the rediscovery of what should have been important documents. They can be found at:
