I know what you mean about returns and cursors (and curses). With all the places I post to, I can never remember if a return means RETURN, or POST, or no effect at all, and then whether or not I can edit something that I've posted. And of course they don't tell you, at least on my phone screen.

Try 2 returns? The first makes a new line, then the second makes that a blank line. I edit Wikipedia a lot, and the default is that a single newline is equivalent to a space (no new paragraph) and a blank line starts a new ¶.
